Role Summary: As a Staff Full Stack Engineer in the Internal Tools Engineering Team, you will develop bespoke tools and systems that automate and streamline the analysis of vast data arrays, turning them into actionable insights. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with end-users, enhancing their capability to deliver precise and impactful outcomes rapidly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and enhance the architecture of new and existing systems to support a wide range of internal tools.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers, data scientists, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate complex requirements into reliable software solutions.
  • Develop secure and scalable web applications and APIs using modern frameworks and technologies.
  • Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Foster a culture of excellence in software practices, ensuring high standards in quality and secure coding.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong background in Python or similar programming languages.
  • Proven track record of developing web-based applications using frameworks like Flask/Django and front-end technologies such as Bootstrap.
  • Experience with cloud computing environments, preferably AWS or Azure, and building cloud-native solutions.
  • Strong foundational knowledge in algorithms, data structures, and system design.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Machine Learning implementations, particularly using Python libraries for NLP or OCR.
  • Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Neo4j, or other advanced database solutions.
