THE TEAM KKR’s Legal team is a trusted partner to the business, operating as an integrated network across global offices. Our lawyers combine technical excellence with commercial acumen, supporting KKR’s investment, operations, and product development activities across asset classes and jurisdictions. The Dublin Legal Platform will collaborate with colleagues in London, New York, and across the EMEA region, working on complex corporate and transactional matters. The team environment is fast‑paced and collaborative, with an emphasis on practical problem‑solving, professional growth, and cross‑functional engagement. THE ROLE KKR is seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel at the Principal level to join its Legal team in Dublin. The role offers the opportunity to advise on a broad range of corporate legal matters, focusing on regional initiatives and cross‑border structuring. The successful candidate will act as a key legal partner to KKR’s corporate and functional teams, helping to shape and strengthen the firm’s operations across EMEA. Key Responsibilities Advise on corporate aspects of office openings and platform development, including drafting and negotiating incorporation and constitutional documents. Lead intragroup structuring and reorganizations in partnership with Tax, Finance, and external counsel. Provide legal support on transfers of assets and similar corporate transactions. Collaborate with Compliance and business colleagues to ensure group structures align with licensing, regulatory, and tax objectives. Monitor legislative and regulatory developments affecting corporate structuring and governance. Draft, review, and negotiate intragroup agreements (services, cost‑sharing, IP, financing, etc.). Support commercial and regulatory teams with distribution agreements across EMEA and globally, ensuring compliance with local legal requirements. Strategic Projects & Regional Coverage Serve as first‑line legal support for regional projects not owned by other specialist functions. Step into ad hoc matters where regional coverage is required, providing flexible, business‑focused corporate support. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Qualified lawyer with 8+ years’ post‑qualification experience, ideally trained in a leading international law firm and/or in‑house at a global financial institution or asset manager. Proven expertise in corporate law, cross‑border structuring, and complex transactions. Familiarity with financial services, asset management, or private markets preferred. Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with strong commercial judgment. Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams. Strategic thinker with strong execution skills and attention to detail. Self‑starter who thrives in dynamic, collaborative environments.
