My client is looking to add a seasoned property manager for a 253 Tax Credit senior citizen apartment community in Denver, Colorado.

Qualifications and Experience of the Property Manager:


  • High school or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience (2-3 years) in property management.
  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)  
  • Experience managing senior citizen community
  • Driver's License
  • US work authorization

Essential Functions of the Property Manager:


  • Provides overall direction and supervision of day-to-day property management with oversight responsibility for management of the properties within a designated portfolio.
  • Ensure monthly occupancy and delinquency goals are met.
  • Confirms timely and accurate reporting for assigned portfolio to the Regional Vice President. Information included will be vacancy and delinquency numbers, budget variances, staffing needs, upcoming inspections, and other data, as needed.
  • Will communicate regularly with all necessary company employees, lenders, property owners, financial partners, and other individuals as deemed necessary.
  • Will do regular visits to each property to ensure the highest standards are maintained.
  • Ensure Revenues are maximized.
  • Expenses are carefully monitored and controlled.
  • Ensures all employees are properly trained.
  • Resident satisfaction is a continual focus.
  • Make certain that each property is maintained to the highest standards with a continual focus on asset preservation and enhancement.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to all legal requirements are reinforced.

Skills and Abilities Required of the Property Manager:


  • Must maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
  • Must have knowledge of Federal, State and Local Policies.
  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentations skills
  • Ability to manage effective teams and develop strategic solutions.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with strong attention to detail
