Job Title: Property Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Property Manager to join our team at Paramark Corp. in Rochester, MN. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for the administration of all owner services and programs to enhance and support the cooperative members' living experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Member-elected Board of Directors and committees in the management of the Cooperative
  • Manage contract services, public relations, marketing, and financial performance of the Cooperative
  • Manage the management office and maintain high levels of computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office suite
  • Interact with members, maintaining open lines of communication, and provide customer service in a friendly, courteous, and flexible manner
  • Receives, reviews, and inputs invoices for payment, and facilitates monthly member fees
  • Order supplies, receive deliveries, answer phones, and respond to emails
  • Maintain office files, including member files, emergency contact information, legal, financial, and contract files
  • Responsible for managing and executing tours of the building during open houses, special events, and maintaining the cooperative wait-list
  • Coordinates the preparation of an annual budget, advises the Board on potential improvements and budget issues, and monitors maintenance and janitorial standards
  • Manages maintenance requests, including those involving contractors, to ensure satisfactory completion of maintenance/warranty and housekeeping tasks
  • Works with and assists the Board of Directors and its committees, assists with administrative tasks, and advocates for the Board and its policies
  • Generates and manages member communications, including regular newsletters, occasional flyers, and memos
Requirements:
  • Verbal communications, interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively independently or on a team
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to set priorities, plan work activities, and meet deadlines
  • Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to provide customer service in a friendly, courteous, and flexible manner
  • Ability to mentor and assist others to acquire knowledge, concepts, or skills
  • Flexible work hours, requiring work in excess of 25 hours/week if necessary, and willingness to work evenings and attend events/meetings on weekends as needed
