Wiles Therapy for Kids is an outpatient pediatric therapy clinic that has been providing children with quality and individualized occupational therapy sine 1999. We are currently looking for a fun, energetic, and engaging pediatric occupational therapist to join our team. Our clinics are located in Cumming, Ga (off of 400 exit 13) and in Dawsonville, GA (400 and 53). We also provide services to preschools in Roswell. We are currently hiring for Roswell and Cumming/Alpharetta areas.

*Pediatric Occupational Therapist Job Summary*

At Wiles Therapy for Kids, we strive to make every child and family feel welcome and to make therapy fun for the children. We find each child’s interest and use those interests to engage and motivate the child. We are looking for an occupational therapist that is good with children and can have fun and make therapy fun while at the same time achieving goals and helping the child make progress. We communicate with the parents before or after each session and need a therapist with good communication and interpersonal skills. The therapists (OT, PT, SP, ABA) work as a team and collaborate and also communicate with the children’s teachers when needed. We strive to maintain a very positive and up beat work environment.

*Pediatric Occupational Therapist Job Responsibilities*
* Evaluate children and write reports and occupational therapy goals
* Write letter of medical necessity/plan of care for children for Medicaid
* Provide Pediatric OT in a fun and engaging manner
* Communicate with parents
* Collaborate with team members (OT, PT, SP, ABA)
* Keep accurate therapy notes
* Comply with federal and state occupational therapy regulations and ethics

*Occupational Therapist Qualifications and Skills*
* Experience as a pediatric occupational therapist preferred
* Valid Georgia occupational therapist license
* Ability to connect with children and communicate with parents
* Excellent work ethic
* Good interpersonal skills
* Good time management skills
* Good Communication Skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN, Contract

Expected hours: 1 – 40 per week
