Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' functional abilities, including physical, cognitive, and emotional factors.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals.
  • Implement therapeutic activities and interventions to improve clients' ability to perform daily activities and tasks.
  • Provide adaptive techniques and equipment recommendations to facilitate independence and safety.
  • Educate clients, caregivers, and family members on therapeutic techniques and strategies.
  • Monitor and document clients' progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and complete accurate and timely clinical notes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize treatment outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Georgia.
  • Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • Previous experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a clinical or healthcare setting.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to professional growth and development through continuing education and training.
