Assembler/Winder

1. Prepares rotors for pressing on shaft and performs balancing operation.

2. Hand winds and wraps rotors/stators.

3. Prepares stators and wound rotors for dip & bake.

4. Dips and bakes stators and rotors.

5. Cleans varnish off stators and wound rotors.

6. Inserts stators into frame.

7. Coordinates face of order/bills of material to ensure correct assembly.

8. Performs final assembly of electric motors.

9. Performs testing analysis on each assembled motor.

10. Cuts motor leads to proper length and tags according to specifications.

11. Maintains established production and quality standards.

12. Maintains housekeeping standards within the department.

13. Performs other duties as assigned by department lead person.

**Work Environment**

The area is well-lit and clean but can be very loud in some areas. Ear protection is required in a few areas. Several machines in the foundry section can be VERY hot, especially in the summer.
