Executive Director – Bickford Senior Living Location: Rocky River, OH Bickford Senior Living provided pay range Base pay range: $85,000.00/yr - $88,000.00/yr Benefits Full‑time employees are eligible for all benefits (medical, dental, vision, and voluntary products). Bonus opportunities. Part‑time employees (29 or fewer hours per week) are eligible for Voluntary Life and Voluntary Short‑Term Disability. Benefits start the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment. Prescription savings plans. All employees are eligible for 401(k) with employer match. Pay available daily. Responsibilities Occasional mandatory travel required for training and development purposes. Responsible for all operations within the Branch, interacting with staff, residents, potential residents, and their families or representatives; builds and maintains strong working relationships with the management team. Acts as a hands‑on leader who supervises, directs, and motivates Branch staff; provides assistance as needed to ensure optimal branch operations. Attracts, retains, and develops top talent within the Branch; ensures proper scheduling and staffing while meeting all local/state regulatory requirements. Responsible for recruiting and hiring high‑quality, engaged staff and ensuring they are appropriately trained and developed to meet residents’ needs. Maintains positive resident relations and is accessible and approachable to residents and their families. Drives sales in collaboration with the Branch Sales Leader to meet occupancy and net operating income (NOI) targets. Ensures buildings, grounds, and property are in good order in partnership with Division Operations Support and the corporate office. Enforces company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines. Qualifications High‑school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in a related health‑care field preferred. Required licensure to operate an Assisted Living Facility as outlined by local state regulations. Experience managing the operations of a business; senior housing operations experience preferred but not required. Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel); ability to learn new applications. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Competent organizational and time‑management skills. Demonstrates good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities. A valid driver’s license and a driving record consistent with Bickford’s insurance carrier guidelines.
