Senior Java Developer – Client Portal

Our client, a well-established FinTech is looking to fill the role of Back End Senior Java Developer. The successful candidate will help design, develop and maintain their Web API platform, which currently provides third Parties, clients and internal client-facing applications access to highly critical real-time services required for day-to-day operations. As a member of the Web portal team, you will help shape the platform's future and have various opportunities to grow. This is a hybrid role (three days in the office/two days remote).

Salary: $225k-$240k

Responsibilities: You will work with business and internal teams, adding new features and interfaces as requiredYou will write documentation units and regression tests for new interfacesYou will write backend services and/or clients that will help expose internal servicesYou will Provide 3rd Level of supportRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science or a related fieldProven experience as a Java Developer with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Vert.xProficiency in using Git version control for code management and collaborationStrong command of RESTful web services and experience in designing and implementing themExperience with JUnit or other testing frameworks for writing unit and integration testsSolid understanding of software development principles and best practicesExperience with WebSockets and real-time communication in a Java-based environmentStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and within a teamExcellent communication skills and a collaborative mindsetContinuous learning and staying up-to-date with the industryFamiliarity with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS) is a plusPrevious experience with agile development methodologies is a plusSelf-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervisionSuperb analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent collaboration and communication (Verbal and written) skillsOutstanding organizational and time management skillsIf you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
