Work Arrangement:
This is a hybrid position requiring three days in the office and two days of remote work.
Compensation:
Salary range: $225,000 - $240,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business and internal teams to implement new features and interfaces as needed.
- Create documentation, unit tests, and regression tests for new interfaces.
- Develop backend services and/or clients to expose internal services effectively.
- Provide third-level support for the platform.
Essential Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Proven track record as a Java Developer with a strong command of Java, Spring Boot, and Vert.x.
• Proficient in using Git for version control and collaborative coding.
• In-depth knowledge of RESTful web services, including design and implementation experience.
• Familiarity with JUnit or similar testing frameworks for unit and integration testing.
• Solid grasp of software development principles and best practices.
• Experience with WebSockets and real-time communication in a Java environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS) is advantageous.
• Previous experience with agile development methodologies is preferred.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks with minimal oversight.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
