Primary Functions and Essential Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, revise, and format legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
  • Create shell documents for pleadings and manage cases from start to finish.
  • Handle calendaring, scheduling, and docketing for cases.
  • Experience with state and federal court filings, including e-filing, is required.
  • Prepare and manage expense reports, as well as arrange travel for attorneys.
  • Coordinate and schedule internal and external meetings, conference calls, and video conferences using Outlook and Zoom.
  • Arrange for catering and manage document distribution as needed.
  • Prioritize and manage Outlook calendar items, ensuring attorneys are informed of any changes and stay on schedule throughout the day.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including air, ground, and lodging.
  • Organize and create detailed expense reports.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a legal assistant or similar role, preferably in a law firm setting.
  • Strong knowledge of legal document preparation and e-filing procedures.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Zoom, and other relevant software.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
