*Job Description:*

An established Construction/Gravel/Trucking company looking to hire a journey level Diesel Mechanic for our Centralia location “Immediately”. We have a great staff and we pride ourselves on our high standard for customer satisfaction.

*Responsibilities:*

Perform routine maintenance on all aspects of diesel trucks & semi-trailers. Maintains diesel equipment by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements; correcting vehicle deficiencies; making adjustments and alignments; keeping records. Maintenance includes but not limited to: PM/oil service, brakes, transmission, electrical, clutch, and welding.

*Requirement & Experience:*

\* Minimum 2 years working in the Heavy Equipment field. Kenworth and CAT a plus

\* Ability to perform diagnostic and repairs on heavy equipment.

\* Adhere to safety regulations

\* Able to lift 50 lbs.

\* Able to work while standing, sitting, crouching, or kneeling for extended periods of time.

\* CDL A license a plus but not necessary for the job.

Competitive Pay

Benefits after 90 days

Position is full time with overtime available.

Hours:

\*Day Shift

7:00 - 4:00 pm M-F

\*\*Evening Shift

2:00 – 11:00 pm M-F

Overtime hours available

*Qualifications:*
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools
- Familiarity with diagnostic software and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
