We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Piedmont Newton Hospital. As a Nurse Specialist in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to patients recovering from surgery.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized patient care and support to patients recovering from surgery
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs and medical conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BLS certification required
- One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable
