  • Snow Removal Production Planning
  • Drives through job sites and conducts property inspections to ensure high quality is achieved
  • Management of production, crews, job sites, equipment, and materials
  • Collaborates and works with Operations Manager and Branch Manager to ensure customer, employees, and job site needs are met
  • On-Site training of crew personnel
  • Participates in sharing best-practices with other managers and key-personnel throughout the company
  • Accurate submission of all required documentation in a timely manner
  • Report all incidents, accidents, and injuries immediately and completes incident reports within 24 hours
  • Participates in assigned meetings
  • Always represent the company in a positive and professional manner
  • Embrace and practice education and continuous improvement, in order to expand knowledge and grow in terms of level of responsibility and contribution to company
Requirements
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen, DOT Physical exam
  • Valid driver's license and pass driver's background check
  • Must have 1 year experience in commercial snow removal management
  • Leadership and/or management experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong time management skills
  • Able to work as a team and take direction from multiple sources
  • Be a self-starter, able to productively work for extended periods of time with minimal direct supervision
  • Positive and friendly attitude, reliable, self-motivated, well organized, and works with professionalism
  • Able to productively work for extended periods of time with minimal direct supervision
  • Working knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Required to be on call 24/7 during the winter season including weekends and holidays
  • Must be time flexible, without schedule restrictions
  • Expected to complete their assigned shift and/or route, expect and be well prepared to work long hours when called
  • Must be physically able to operate plow truck
  • Able to work during all snow events
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs, bend, walk repeatedly for a continuous period
  • Able to read maps, and able to communicate and work well with others
