Job Title: IT (Break-Fix) Technician

Location: San Francisco, CA

Schedule: Thursday - Tuesday, 9 AM - 6 PM

Position Overview:

We are seeking a IT Service Technician for a 3 month contract to hire opportunity in San Francisco CA.

The Technician will provide break-fix troubleshooting and repair services to our customers. This role requires excellent communication and customer service skills, leadership abilities, and creative problem-solving.

General Responsibilities:

Work 40 hours per week with on-call nights/weekends required
Ability to work overtime when necessary (limited OT with prior Manager approval)
Provide quality customer relations using customer management skills and collaboration with other employees
Diagnose machine performance issues
Install, repair, and troubleshoot workstations, printers, scanners, routers, and switches
Install and repair servers
Troubleshoot and install in LAN-WAN environments
Provide desk-side technical support for hardware and software
Perform analysis to identify potential problems and implement solutions
Maintain technical competence to support hardware and software needs
Perform hardware installations, moves, additions, and changes in accordance with the Change Management Process
Conduct preventive maintenance as per OEM specifications

Skills/Experience Required:

Technical Skills: A+ certification, experience with vehicle standby and travel (if needed)
Education: High school diploma, college, military, tech school, or IT courses
Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a technician

Additional Requirements:

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
