About the Role:

Medical Mutual is seeking a talented Regulatory Attorney to join our dynamic organization. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that provides exceptional legal counsel and support. As a Regulatory Attorney at Medical Mutual, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing expert legal advice. You will work closely with various departments to support our mission of delivering high-quality healthcare services. The role is hybrid and location is Medical Mutual’s Brooklyn, OH headquarters.


Responsibilities:

  • Works independently to identify and analyze legal issues, assess risk, and provide recommendations and counsel.
  • Develops standard documents and compliance guidelines and negotiates on behalf of the corporation.


Qualifications:

Requires a J.D. degree, at least 8 years of legal experience, and admission to practice law in Ohio. Law firm experience required. Experience in healthcare or insurance law is a plus. Must have the ability to research and apply legal principles, solve problems, and occasionally travel to offsite locations.
