The Sales Strategy Manager reports directly to the SVP, National Sales Manager and works alongside the Sales leadership team in the operation of Distributions Sales Strategy. The Sales Strategy Manager is responsible for monitoring and reporting on department initiatives, deliverables, and related matters and delivers executive level project management. This role will also provide executive level administrative support to the Chief Operating Officer of Jackson National Life Distributors (JNLD) and the SVP, National Sales Manager.

Essential Responsibilities

Project manage the delivery of distribution sales strategic deliverables to include creating and implementing the necessary tools and designing the internal team communication plan and process to support key deadlines. Actively engage and collaborate with the Sales leadership team to ensure effective management of the strategic planning process for deliverables. Implement the overarching department communication plan to drive long-term team deliverables, development, and dissemination of information and knowledge. Track and regularly report on budget status, sales results, and key organizational metrics while building relationships across internal departments. Serve as a primary project resource and contribute to sales projects in support of sales team inclusive of VP, DSM, EW POD Leads, EW, and HPW roles. Create and enhance the Sales team's use and execution of evolving technology streamlining sources of truth for information. Strong use of MS Teams required. Lead and support efforts to perform reviews of key business activities, including business strategic projects and sales team operating functions. Operate both short- and long-term projects to support sales team. Identify improvements to the Sales team’s procedures and methodologies. Coach and assist in the development of administrative support personnel and delegate work as needed in support of projects and department initiatives for the VP, DSM team. Develop, implement, and manage administrative programs and policies for the department. Provide executive level administrative support including calendar, time, agenda creation, and travel management to the Chief Operating Officer, JNLD and the SVP, National Sales Manager. Other Duties

Assist with Sales team duties, including conducting meetings and presentations. Performs other duties and/or projects as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Excellent project management skills. Ability to motivate and inspire team members, both on an individual and team level, to achieve project goals and objectives. Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including ability to independently edit and compose report content and other correspondence. Strong presentation skills with ability to effectively create, summarize and present information to leaders. Flexibility and creative thinking ability to be able to create innovative solutions to complex problems and issues. Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to effectively communicate and build relationships with all levels of associates and senior management. Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills. Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills supporting a fast-paced multitasking environment. Able to prioritize efficiently to accomplish objectives, work within strict timeframes, and meet deadlines. Ability to appropriately handle sensitive confidential information. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required. 5+ years of executing in task driven roles with key stakeholders impacting large groups required. Previous experience developing reports and implementing business strategy and procedures required. 5+ years of business-related experience in a professional environment supporting sales leadership required.
