Senior Manager, Enterprise Key Accounts Office - San Diego, CA Full time R-3884 As the Senior Manager, Key Accounts, you’ll get to lead the Key Accounts (KAM) Team to expand, renew/upgrade and sell beneficial services to Lytx’s client base. You’ll bring a strategic selling focus to a team comprised of both Enterprise and Mid‑Market KAMs — facilitating and driving an exceptional collaborative, insightful sales strategy and execution. You will ensure alignment with the Lytx business strategy and, through planning and process, ensure that the sales team has the tools and capabilities to grow to peak sustainable level of expansion sales, renewals/upgrades and expansion in the shortest possible time. The successful candidate will lead with data‑driven insights and bring experience in selling and/or supporting recurring technology subscriptions in a fast‑paced environment, with experience in telematics or related SaaS solutions including applications in commercial transportation. If this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply You’ll Get To: Drive growth and capture market share by providing strategic leadership in the development and execution of well‑conceived sales plans targeting key client opportunities that support each stage of the sales cycle. Work with the KAMs to mentor and drive top level performance, implement standard methodologies and optimize processes. Build sustainable competitive advantage by bringing strategic selling approach and methodology to the KAM sales team—facilitating and driving a highly collaborative, astute sales strategy and execution. Provide leadership to a team responsible for proactively engaging client renewals and/or upgrade strategies, securing and leading relevant trials of new solutions, securing renewal/upgrade deals, optimizing renewal or upgrade pricing and terms, as well as identifying and selling valuable services. Work cross‑functionally across marketing and business development teams to build focused pipeline of qualified client expansion opportunities, converting rapidly into booked rollouts. Partner closely with Customer Success, Technical Support, Product Management, Finance and Orders Management to tackle client problems. Build and share first‑hand customer feedback and intelligence that is converted into concrete trends and insights and systematically shared across the Lytx organizations and teams, influencing product/program development, GTM approach and marketing communication plans. Optimize client acquisition cost through developing and implementing efficient sales processes, territory alignment and pipeline prioritization, as well as mentoring sales team in standard methodology sales effectiveness and efficiency. Build, empower and performance‑manage a sales team of consistent top performers by sourcing optimal candidates, accelerating their learning curve and maintaining a detailed KPI‑driven performance management approach. Other duties as assigned. What You’ll Need: Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, or equivalent related experience. Experience in business leadership with demonstrated ability to coach team members at multiple levels and leverage data and metrics to drive performance. Successful track record engaging with senior management and program champions, winning their confidence by addressing and resolving sophisticated program or business issues, requiring a high level of cross‑functional collaboration. Experience working in an Enterprise sales environment, either in a direct enterprise sales role or as a crucial team member, directly involved in day‑to‑day enterprise sales activity. Outstanding success forming relationships with clients and colleagues. Ability to think logically, communicate clearly, and present well‑organized thoughts and solutions to internal and external clients. Proven success collaborating with internal partners to resolve sophisticated challenges. Consultative, solution‑based sales and support methodology with strong written, verbal and presentation skills. Experience in telematics or related SaaS solutions including applications in commercial transportation, a plus. Approximately 25% travel. This position is also eligible for an incentive compensation plan.
