REPORTING TO: Senior Director Retail Operations

LOCATION: Miami Design District, FL


POSITION SUMMARY:

John Hardy seeks a Boutique Manager to lead store business objectives and foster an unsurpassed service culture. This colleague will lead our Boutique Team in curating the John Hardy brand experience and serve as a brand ambassador within the market, introducing new clients to John Hardy and cultivating relationships with existing clients. The Boutique Manager will perform with the utmost integrity in operations, loss prevention compliance, people management, and visual merchandising presentation.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Development

  • Lead the team in the delivery of the ultimate John Hardy brand experience and ensure unsurpassed client service on the sales floor
  • Implement a top strategy to retain and develop high-potential clients and strong sales results

Business Leadership

  • Drive and maximize sales performance to achieve the overall sales budget objectives
  • Analyze monthly store performance and report current trends
  • Develop and implement business action plans in collaboration with the Senior Director of Retail Ops
  • Communicate company KPIs and identify strategies to attain performance standards

Performance and Talent Management

  • Communicate all relevant brand, product, operational, and technical training and educate the team on brand pillars and seasonal strategy
  • Recruit and retain a high-performing team and manage the allocation of staff resources
  • Conduct goal setting, performance coaching and monitoring, and team meetings
  • Partner with the Senior Director of Retail Ops and VP of Human Resources for all employee relationships issues

Operational Leadership

  • Maintain store operating budget, including total profit and loss ownership, timely submission of accounts payable invoices, and cash disbursement policy management
  • Ensure maintenance of cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and shrink requirements
  • Oversee the processing of daily inbound and outbound merchandise
  • Support and maintain consistent visual merchandising and housekeeping standards
  • Maintain knowledge of all product categories
  • Ensure adherence to company retail operating procedures
  • Partner with the support team and other appropriate internal departments
  • Maintain security standards within the store for the safety of customers and colleagues, and asset protection


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales or a related field
  • Preferred: Graduate Gemologist degree or Gemological Institute of America (GIA) course work
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales management experience in retail or luxury retail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite as well as Point of Sales (POS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • Proven track record in sales generation, managing the achievement of sales results and meeting profitability targets
  • Proven people management experience
