Playfly Sports is looking for a Director, Corporate Partnerships to join our team in Chicago, IL, Los Angeles, CA, or New York, NY. This is a hybrid role.THE RUNDOWNPlayfly Sports is seeking a Director, Corporate Partnerships to secure commercial revenue on behalf of our portfolio of blue-chip sports and entertainment rights holders. The successful candidate will be an experienced sales executive who consistently sources, pitches, negotiates, and closes seven and eight figure partnerships while developing meaningful relationships with executive-level corporate decision makers.What You’ll AccomplishLead and manage Premier client accounts, ensuring exceptional service and long-term partnership growthIdentify, cultivate, and secure new corporate partnerships across key categoriesDrive proactive outreach and strategic prospecting of potential partnersDevelop and monetize new sponsorship inventory in collaboration with property stakeholdersConduct high-impact, face-to-face sales meetings with senior decision-makersBuild, maintain, and present robust sales pipelines with clear forecasting and reportingCreate compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client objectivesTravel domestically and internationally to engage with prospective and existing partnersSupport new business efforts across both property representation and consulting/valuation engagementsProvide mentorship, guidance, and professional development to junior sales staffWhat You’ll BringBachelor’s degree required6-8 years of direct sales experience in the sports multi-media environment required10 years of experience in a sales role preferredExperience managing a team of direct reportsProven ability in managing, meeting, and exceeding budget and revenue goalsFamiliarity with KORE or similar CRM systemStrong experience and understanding of integrated and conceptual salesAbility to generate and present ideas and concepts succinctly and provide creative solutions to prospects/clientsOutstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsDemonstrated professional sales presentation skillsMust be driven and coachable to execute the Playfly Sports Properties revenue modelTravel, Lifting, Physical RequirementsThis role primarily takes place in an office settingOccasional domestic and international travel requiredCompensationActual compensation packages are based on several factors, including skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
