E&C Engineer – Mechanical or Electrical Westinghouse Electric Company Opportunity Overview Contract 1‑year – likely to extend. Hybrid role based in Minneapolis, MN with travel. Must live within a drivable distance of Minneapolis. No per diem or relocation being offered. Your Day-to-Day Focus on mechanical and electrical engineering for natural gas/thermal generation projects. Responsibilities Responsible for power plant design, construction support and engineering oversight. Assist with RFIs and change orders. Who You Are 8+ years of experience in power plant design, construction, owner/operator or EPC Firm. Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an ABET‑accredited school. Power generation experience (combustion turbine plants). Familiar with construction environments. PE preferred but not required. Instrumentation and controls experience for the electrical role would be nice to have.
