Join our dynamic team at MITY, Inc, a leading furniture manufacturer dedicated to crafting high-quality, innovative, and sustainable furniture solutions. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and our passion for creating products that enhance living and working spaces.


Our MityLite brand is looking to add Sales Development Representatives for our Church and Government & Education Markets. You will play a pivotal role in propelling the company’s growth by identifying and qualifying potential customers. Your primary responsibilities will include outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and arranging appointments for the sales team. The ultimate goal is to create a pipeline of qualified opportunities that can be converted into closed deals.


This is a full time in office position with a base pay plus 20% commission potential.


Responsibilities:


  • Distribute tradeshow, conference and industry event leads & opportunities to teams identifying potential prospects
  • Engage with attendees, collect contact information, and qualify leads based on predefined criteria
  • Proactively reach out to dormant or stagnant accounts to re-engage them with company products/services
  • Understand their previous interactions with the company, address any concerns or issues, and present new value propositions to reignite interest
  • Conduct research to identify and target new prospects within assigned territories or industries
  • Use various methods such as cold calling, email outreach, and social selling to initiate contact and generate interest
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand product offerings and value propositions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions in the CRM system
  • Continuously learn about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors to enhance product knowledge
  • Collaborate with marketing to align on messaging and campaign to attract target customers
  • Provide feedback to the marketing and sales team on the effectiveness of lead generation strategies

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in a sales development required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate product value propositions, engage prospects effectively, and convey information clearly
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in using CRM and sales automation tool
