Title: IT Development Engineer II - Data Integrations
Location: Charlotte, NC.
Duration: 3 month contract to start
Compensation: $30-40 per hour
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

SUMMARY The IT Development Engineer II is responsible for the development, configuration and testing of applications and processes as per the technical requirements and specifications for the application and identifying opportunities for improvement and/or automation of existing processes.
Seeking someone with a positive, can-do attitude with a servant-leader mentality, able to think quick on their feet and outside the box to resolve difficult situations.

BACKGROUND PROFILE Write, modify and troubleshoot code in enterprise standard (C#, .Net, SQL, SSIS) programming languages to optimize the performance and efficiency of an organization's IT platform/infrastructure.
Creates or modifies existing data integration processes that access and/or move data from point A to point B, including SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), Console Apps using C# or APIs.
Participates and actively contributes to the following Agile Scrum activities - Sprint, Sprint Planning, Daily Standup, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective and Backlog Grooming
Creates technical documentation of systems software programs and code to be leveraged for audit purposes and documents why the program was built.
Participates in rotational on-call support, maintenance activities, and other duties as determined by the team.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities 5-7+ years of Development Engineer experience - Tools, Frameworks and best practices
2-3 Years of working with enterprise data (SQL, Structured & Semi-Structured Data)
2-3 Years of Agile Delivery in a Matrixed organizational Structure
1-3 Years of CI/CD experience - Tools, Frameworks, and best practices
1-3 Years MS Azure Environment Development experience 0-2 Years MS Azure DevOps operational (pipeline) experience
1-2 Years experience in Domain-specific framework development (C#, .NET, JavaScript, Mobile, Web, etc.)
2-3 Years of Data Integration using one or more of the following: SSIS, Informatica, Talend, custom Console Apps or APIs.
Experience or willingness to learn how to create and modify .Net Core Web APIs.
Positive, can-do attitude with a servant leader mentality
Ability to think quick on their feet and outside the box to resolve difficult situations
Strong Analytical and problem-solving abilities

Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED
Knowledge acquired through 5 to up to 7 years of work experience

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree (4 years)
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Business or related field
Professional certification within Software Development or Database Engineering

Work Environment
Office Environment ( at least 2 days in office )
