Assist in the preparation of materials, supplies, and equipment for surgeries. Maintain environmental disinfection and operational efficiency of the operating room. Function as a Second Assistant when necessary, helping with various surgical procedures. Identify and notify staff of any equipment or supply issues to ensure smooth operations. Transport patients, equipment, and supplies as needed, ensuring proper patient handling techniques. Maintain and ensure the completeness of specialty carts or items, checking for sterility and working condition. Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of hire. Knowledge of aseptic techniques and various operating room equipment. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
