Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, offering assistance as needed.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments in a timely manner.
- Manage patient records and update information accurately in the system.
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries with professionalism.
- Process insurance verifications and handle patient billing inquiries.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Assist with the preparation of patient paperwork and documentation.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and office software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
