Our client, an Autonomous Vehicle Company, is seeking a Fleet Support Engineer to join their team. As a Fleet Support Engineer, you will be part of the BaseOps team supporting operational uptime of the fleet. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Fleet Support Engineer
Location: San Francisco, CA
Shift: Monday to Friday; Day shift (8am-5pm or 9am-6pm)
Pay Range: $63.79/hour

What’s the Job?
•    Serve as the primary point of contact for real-time escalations for fleet issues.
•    Conduct in-depth root cause analysis through comprehensive log review to identify and resolve fleet issues.
•    Develop, update, and maintain a comprehensive troubleshooting guide for technicians.
•    Perform hardware bring-up and validation procedures for new vehicle components.
•    Design and implement diagnostic procedures to streamline future troubleshooting processes.

What’s Needed?
•    Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in transportation, aerospace, or autonomous vehicles.
•    Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
•    Experience with low/high voltage circuits and Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS).
•    Understanding of hardware and software systems architecture.
•    Ability to comprehend schematics, electrical diagrams, and connector pinouts.
