Physical Therapist- Full Time- South Lake Tahoe, CA

Summary of Position:
A Physical Therapist provides physical therapy services to patients utilizing established policies and procedures, ensuring safe and effective care. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Demonstrates the knowledge and skill necessary to identify and meet the individualized needs of all patients served. The Physical therapist is under the supervision of the Director of Rehabilitation Services and Rehabilitation Manager.
Education:
Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program with a baccalaureate, masters or doctorate degree in Physical Therapy and successful passage of the national licensure exam.
Experience:
Two (2) years experience as a Physical Therapist preferred
Recent / previous work experience in out-patient rehabilitation setting preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to follow written and oral directions
Computer skills required
Demonstrates high level of personal and professional accountability and responsibility
Self-directed and performs duties independently
Ability to problem solve and apply critical thinking skills
Must have the proven ability to maintain confidentiality
Must demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate daily work flow to ensure department needs are met
Must be flexible, dependable, and demonstrate the ability to adapt to change
Certifications/Licensure:
Current California or Nevada PT licenses and ability to obtain other state (CA or NV) license within 3 months of date of hire.
Physical Therapist License Applicants may be considered, but full license for State of California must be obtained within 3 months of employment and State of Nevada license must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
Current CPR/BLS certification by the American Heart Association (BLS for the Healthcare Provider) or ability to obtain prior to start date.

Pay: $48.95 - $75.86 per hour
