Kelly, in partnership with a rapidly growing manufacturer, is looking for a Permanent Production Electrician in Milford, CT

This is a direct hire role, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their benefit and vacation package upon hire

Benefits:

Details:
Hours: 11:30 am to 7:30 pm Sunday through Thursday
  • Overtime available - double time on 7th day if worked
Pay:  $41.06 per hour plus $2.20 shift differential

Job Description:
  • Recordkeeping, excellent communication skills and ability to analyze problems simply.
  • Must be able to operate power tools.
  • Must be able to assist other trades as needed and provide support in the general maintenance of the facility.
  • Must have the ability to work to a height of 40 feet above ground on occasion.
  • Must be able to operate forklifts, man lifts, cherry pickers and other industrial vehicles.
  • Must have the ability to understand and install security and fire safety systems.
  • Must have the ability to understand and install electrical power systems and control wiring (pipe and wire)
  • Ability to assemble and wire new control panels per N.E.C. and engineer’s instructions.
  • Must have the ability to understand and install.
  • Ethernet communications

Requirements:
  • Possess current State of Connecticut E2 License or above.
  • Must have knowledge of Electrical Power Distribution and Lighting Circuits with volage rating of DC to 500 Volts and AC to 13,800 volts.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (N.E.C.)  Example: wire sizing, fusing, practices, safeties, Lock-Out/Tag Out, Emergency Stop circuits, grounding, and use of handbook
  • Possess knowledge of relay control circuits, including AC, DC (Servo preferred, not required), drives.
  • Must be a team player committed to working in a quality environment.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments, organizations, and leadership teams.
  • Overtime and weekend work are required.
  • Ability to be on-call for emergencies.
