This position will be a jack-of-all-trades, with in-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures, hydraulic systems, HVAC, etc. General Responsibilities: Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, replace broken windows, doors or walls, etc. Painting the building when old paint has become faded or chipped. Inspecting buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues. Repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures. Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures. Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs. Maintaining the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly Managing HVAC and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality. Conducting periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard. Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce risk of future problems and fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries. Performing general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, and carpentry. Maintaining the inventory records for equipment and supplies. General Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent qualification. 2 years of experience in a similar role. In-depth knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems. Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques. Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings. Effective problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be well-organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks.
