As a Director of Paid Search and Programmatic Strategy for North America, you will report directly to the VP of Paid Media, North America and oversee a team of Search and Programmatic specialists. Working in tandem with our Paid Social and Account team you will develop, implement, and optimize strategy for your channels that include the entire Google (i.e. YouTube, Display, SA360) and Bing platforms. Additionally, you will lead a team of specialists to ensure growth in both technical and leadership skills.


What You will Contribute


In this role, you can expect to:

  • Develop an annual roadmap for Paid Search to improve the efficiency of generating inquiries through Google and Bing.
  • Develop a full-funnel system for analyzing the data of search marketing from top-of-funnel strategies using online media, bidding and keyword strategy, ad performance, landing page performance, to net sales for the business.
  • Oversee strategy for YouTube as well as the Google DV 360 ecosystem including programmatic display, video, OOH, and audio buys
  • Work with brand marketing teams, internal account team and platform partners to build performance benchmarks and KPIs for your channels
  • Measure the impact and effectiveness of various Paid Search & Programmatic strategies against brand goals and use the data to inform future goals
  • Audit campaign structure, parameters, and reporting to identify opportunities to improve data accuracy and inform future strategy
  • Ongoing account optimization, including structure & targeting improvements, search query mining, keyword expansion, advanced use of negative keywords, and improvement of bid management processes and algorithms.
  • Manage budget alignment process to ensure that the team is appropriately budgeted to the targeted spend and lead targets.
  • Utilize your advanced knowledge of Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising’s testing capabilities to design and implement at scale testing of conversion goals, targeting, keyword composition, and creative
  • Manage the strategy for landing page improvements to support paid search performance
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices to keep our SEM & programmatic strategies innovative.



We will provide you with the training and tools to set you up for success, and we hope that you will bring:


  • Formal qualification in digital marketing, business, paid media, or related degrees
  • 10+ years working in paid search strategy ideally for B2C lead generation campaigns.
  • 5+ years managing teams accountable for executing B2C paid search campaigns
  • Proficiency in the Google ecosystem including DV 360 and YouTube
  • A thorough understanding of the impact of creative assets on channel strategy
  • Experience utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Google & Bing certification
  • High Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word), and knowledge of project management tools
  • Investment in team development and commitment to building a healthy balanced workspace for your colleagues and direct reports
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Capacity to work calmly and effectively under pressure with quickly shifting priorities
