This includes: 401kMedical and Dental InsuranceLife InsurancePaid Time OffEmployee Referral ProgramBonus opportunitiesEmployee Discount Program Position Overview This position is responsible for the orientation and training of new assembly staff and will ensure employees are performing their job duties correctly in compliance with all Company policies, procedures and meeting quality and productivity expectations.Essential Job Functions•Must be well versed in all assembly functions to train new hires and existing employees.•Create and present material as well as teach and coach through various questions and scenarios.•Conduct on-the-job training sessions and refresher training.•Ability to provide training calmly and professionally. •Ability to evaluate and identify strengths and weaknesses of employees.•Maximize productivity by ensuring there is an understanding of goals and ensuring goals are met or exceeded.•Provide feedback and coaching to trainees to assist in their development.•Monitor methods used by employees and make on-the-spot corrections if necessary.•Assist employees with problems concerning "how to" perform specific tasks related to their position.•Test trainees to measure progress and to evaluate the effectiveness of training.•Work with management and make suggestions on improving work procedures within the department.•Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.•Ability to plan and schedule tasks and handle multiple tasks at once.•Must have the flexibility to work across shifts to accomplish the necessary training goals of the department.•Assist Team Leaders with daily operations of the department.Non-Essential Job Functions•Fill in for Team Leaders as needed•Continue personal and professional development•Other duties as assignedRequirements•Previous assembly experience•Excellent communication skills•Skill in organization, prioritization, and attention to detail•Must be able to work without bias•Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods•Must be able to engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts and containers.•Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.•High School diploma or equivalentWe are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
