We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Psychiatric to join our team at the Detroit Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse Psychiatric, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our psychiatric unit.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse Psychiatric will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patient needs, and developing individualized care plans. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care delivery and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Experience in psychiatric nursing, preferably in an inpatient setting.
