Job Title: Registered Nurse Psychiatric

Job Summary:

The Detroit Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Psychiatric to join our team at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital. As a Registered Nurse Psychiatric, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to individuals with psychiatric needs. This is a full-time, evening shift position with a 36-hour workweek.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to individuals with psychiatric needs, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Experience working with psychiatric patients preferred.
