Job Summary:

The Mechanical, Electrical, & Plumbing (MEP) Drafter will provide design support using AutoCAD and Revit for project support, bid packages, and drawing control for pharmaceutical manufacturing facility design projects.


Job Duties:

  • Meet with project teams and outside engineering firms to gather requirements.
  • Work with engineers to produce CAD drawings for facility piping, HVAC, electrical distribution, and related MEP systems.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and Revit tools to create designs, bid packages, construction, and as-built drawing documentation.
  • Receive, review, and adjust as-built AutoCAD or Revit designs, as needed.
  • Check design data into the drawing management system.
  • Create or modify drawings to support validation systems.
  • Work with different teams on projects that vary in size and scope.


Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of relevant design/drafting experience in an engineering or construction environment.
  • Proficient in CAD modeling using either AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • Familiar with facility process piping is preferred (e.g., water, plumbing, drainage, gas, valves, etc.).
  • Experience in developing process flow diagrams and one-line drawing updates for MEP systems.
