If you’ve built a strong book of business or influence in real estate, healthcare, manufacturing, education, logistics, or similar spaces — this is your opportunity to bring those relationships into renewables without having to become a technical expert. What Makes This Role Different This is a relationship‑driven role, not a technical sales role. You’ll manage relationships and drive deal flow — while our in‑house Solution Architects handle all the solar and engineering complexity. That means: No steep technical learning curve No solo selling — you’re backed by a full team of engineers, analysts, and developers You stay focused on what you do best — opening doors, cultivating trust, and closing deals This structure lets you operate at your highest value: connecting opportunity with impact. What You’ll Do Leverage your network: Identify and engage organizations that can benefit from clean‑energy transformation in your industry Cultivate trust: Manage the full client relationship — from initial introduction to contract execution Collaborate internally: Work with Brightergy’s Solution Architects, engineers, and finance team to deliver compelling proposals and presentations Advise strategically: Help clients align solar and storage projects with their business, financial, and sustainability goals Drive growth: Build and maintain a healthy pipeline in your region or vertical, owning results and relationships from start to finish 5+ years of B2B business development or enterprise sales experience A strong existing network and credibility in one or more of these industries: Tech, Real Estate, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Education, Public Sector, Utilities, Agriculture, Transportation, or Warehousing Proven history of closing high‑value, complex deals Financial literacy — you’re comfortable with ROI and payback discussions Excellent communication, consultative selling, and relationship management skills A self‑starter mindset with a passion for growth and client impact Competitive base salary (DOE) Uncapped commissions with tiered accelerators Performance bonuses (quarterly and annual) Unlimited PTO and flexible remote work Professional team support — you focus on relationships, we handle the rest Proven track record: 1,000+ commercial solar projects across 15 years Dedicated Solution Architect team: you’re never alone in the deal Strong brand and execution credibility in a fast‑growing market Mission‑driven culture focused on excellence, integrity, and improvement The Bottom Line You bring the relationships and business acumen.
