*Medical Billing Specialist*
Description

* Prepare and submit insurance claims for ophthalmology services.
* Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility.
* Review and process patient billing statements.
* Follow up on unpaid claims and handle claim denials.
* Maintain accurate patient billing records and update information as needed.
* Communicate with insurance companies and patients to resolve billing issues.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Strong knowledge of insurance guidelines and medical billing procedures.
* 3-5 years in medical billing/AR
* Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
