Description

The Quality Improvement Specialist performs functions that support the hospital and medical staff to continually improve patient care, reduces risk, and provide excellent customer service. This position provides support, facilitation, and coordination to support clinical and process improvements throughout the organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Actively enrolled in Bachelor’s Education Program
  • Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
  • 3 years experience within a health care organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
  • Experience with process improvement theories and methods, adult learning principles, and data analysis methods

About the Team

Providence has been serving the Pacific Northwest since 1856 when Mother Joseph and four other Sisters of Providence arrived in Vancouver, Washington Territory. Today, Providence is the largest health care provider in Washington located in communities large and small across the state.
