JOB SUMMARY:

Assists in the general work and management of the kitchen as directed by the cafeteria manager. Assumes the responsibilities of the cafeteria manager in his/her absence.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. High school graduate or equivalent
  2. Previous food service experience required.
  3. Good organizational and communications skills.
  4. Good attendance record.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
May include, but not limited to:
  1. Assists in management operations.
  2. Assists in food preparation.
  3. Assists with food serving.
  4. Assists with clean up of kitchen and equipment.
  5. Bending, lifting, and overhead work required.
  6. Performs other duties as assigned by Cafeteria Manager

REPORTS TO: Cafeteria Manager and Building Principal

RATE OF PAY: $13.93 per hour *(plus an additional $2.00 per hour through June 2024)

START DATE: ASAP

HOURS: 28.75 hrs per week

EVALUATION: Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's Policy on Evaluation of Classified Personnel.
