Summary

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and executing new business opportunities. This role involves qualifying potential customers, developing proposals, and closing deals. The BDM collaborates with marketing and product development teams to achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and qualify potential customers
  • Explore new product and service opportunities
  • Develop and present compelling proposals
  • Close deals effectively
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales departments
  • Stay informed about industry trends
  • Implement innovative business development strategies
  • Adhere to the business management system (BMS)
Metrics
  • Meeting forecasted revenue
Work Environment
  • Primarily remote work with occasional dynamic office collaboration at various locations
Physical Demands
  • Varied routine: emails, calls, and occasional travel to manufacturing sites
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years of business development experience
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Independent and team-oriented work style
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Competitive salary (based on success) $70,000 Base plus commission. OTE $120,000 at goal.
