The successful candidate will believe in the possibilities of high-quality veterinary medicine and patient care and have the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen. They will be a clear communicator, team player, and passionate about serving patients and the person on the other end of the leash.
Our state of the art facility includes a full in house laboratory, digital radiology, digital dental radiology, in house ultrasound and K-laser therapy.
Our affluent client base allows the medical team to focus on practicing excellent medicine without chopping estimates or negotiating treatments.
In this position, you will be supporting our doctors and team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Duties will include:
• Client communication
• Maintaining medical records
• Preparing surgical suite and surgical patients
• Filling prescriptions
• Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging
• Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for boarded and hospitalized pets
Benefits include but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401(k) with a match for qualified employees, flexible spending, paid vacation, paid sick leave, paid holidays, and an excellent personal pet discount. Experience with AVImark is a plus, but not required. State registration and licensure is a plus, but not required.
Pay range is $14.00-$22.00 p hour and commensurate with experience and licensure.
