THIS IS AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION (1-2 years of experience) with a technical background (software development) than can help document processes both from a functional and a technical standpoint.

3- 6 month position

Summary:

The Technical Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, particularly within iMBranded's Innovation department.

This role requires a strong understanding of both business operations and technical systems, with a focus on improving processes, integrating technical solutions, and ensuring the successful implementation of projects.

The ideal candidate will have a blend of business analysis skills and technical knowledge, with the ability to document, analyze, and optimize workflows using technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document business processes and workflows across departments.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather technical and business requirements, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

• Design and manage business and technical requirement documents for various projects within the Innovation team.

• Identify opportunities for automation, integration, and process optimization through technical solutions.

• Use JIRA to support project tracking and reporting.

• Leverage Generative AI and other advanced technologies to accelerate documentation, analysis, and decision-making processes.

• Collaborate with the technical team in the implementation of technical solutions and validate these against business requirements.

Experience:

• Have a general understanding of technical solutions using technologies such as REST APIs, data integration, or cloud platforms, like Azure or AWS, to create integrations, automation, and data-driven applications is a must.

• Have a general understanding of ecommerce projects, in particular Shopify-based projects is a nice to have.

• Experience creating technical specifications and business requirement documents, including user stories and flow charts.

• Experience with JIRA as a project management tool is required.

• Familiarity with tools like Canva, Lucidchart, Figma, or equivalent for process mapping and design.

• Technical experience in languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, PHP, Ruby, Java or C# is a strong advantage.

• Basic understanding of design patters and software architectures are a nice to have.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud is a nice to have.

• Experience with Generative AI tools and their application in process improvement is preferred.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.

• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a Technical or Business-related field, with a strong preference for candidates with technical skills.

• 2-4 years of experience in a Technical Business Analyst or similar role, including internships or academic projects.
