## Job Description


We're seeking a versatile and experienced Product Development Engineer to join our team in a full-time, permanent position. The ideal candidate is a maker at heart, with a proven track record of effectiveness across multiple engineering disciplines. This role offers the exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, contribute to the entire product development process, and share in the company's success.


## Responsibilities


- Develop new product designs and solutions using CAD software

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the full product development cycle

- Conduct analysis, research, and testing to optimize designs and solve complex engineering challenges

- Create technical documentation, models, renderings, and presentations

- Fabricate prototypes and test fixtures as needed

- Contribute to various aspects of product development, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineering tasks


## Requirements


- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field

- Minimum 3 years of experience in product design and development

- Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software

- Experience with microcontrollers (Arduino) and coding

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple engineering disciplines (ME, EE, SWE, etc.)

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

- Hands-on experience taking products from concept to production

- Passion for making and a DIY mindset


## Preferred Skills


- Background in electrical engineering

- Knowledge of data science principles and applications

- Experience with rapid prototyping techniques
