Develop and validate primary cell-based assays—including those using whole blood, PBMCs, splenocytes, and other immune cells—and optimize these assays for scalability, reproducibility, and automation. Proactively identify and resolve technical and scientific challenges to ensure high-quality data and meet project timelines. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and present research findings in project meetings. Partner with CROs to advance assay development, transfer, and execution. Review external data for quality and ensure timely uploading to internal databases. Participate in evaluating targets and projects to continually advance the drug discovery pipeline and platform. Maintain accurate records of laboratory procedures and data. Qualifications PhD in Immunology, molecular or cell biology, pharmacology, or a related field with more than two years of industry experience post‑PhD. Candidates with an MS and extensive drug discovery experience will also be considered. Ability to apply biological insights to innovative assay design, development, and execution. Experience with diverse assay formats and modalities, such as RNA analysis (qPCR), endpoint (viability, apoptosis), phenotypic (live cell) assays, protein quantification (Western Blot, JESS, ELISA, MSD, HTRF, AlphaLisa, HIBIT), and protein‑protein interaction assays (NanoBRET, NanoBiT). Extensive expertise in tissue culture with both immortalized cell lines and primary cells, including isolation, differentiation, and functional assays of immune cell subsets. Background in immunology is highly preferred. Familiarity with flow cytometry and gene editing techniques such as CRISPR/Cas9 is highly desirable. Experience with assay automation and scalability is a major asset. Proven ability to work collaboratively within project teams in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong team‑oriented approach. Eagerness and ability to learn new skills and areas as required by project objectives. Experience collaborating with CROs and using electronic lab notebooks (ELN).
