We have teams located in Cincinnati and Amelia, Ohio to serve individuals in Clermont and Hamilton County. This is a great starting point for a recent Social Work or Psychology graduate and students in an MSW or Masters in Mental Health Counseling program.

We are looking for BSW, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, or related Human Services degree graduates. We also provide practicum supervision, licensure supervision, and continuing education credits.
Responsibilities for Case Manager:
- Provides case management - Community Psychiatric Support Treatment (CPST) services and Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) to persons with severe mental illness in an outpatient setting and in the community. May provide treatment to persons with substance use disorder as a secondary diagnosis.
- Provides services to individuals in the Greater Cincinnati area, including Hamilton and Clermont counties.
- Provides face-to-face services in the office and in the community along with telehealth services.
- Establishes therapeutic relationships, assesses complex problems, selects problem-solving interventions, and helps clients to function effectively.
- The case manager develops an Individual Recovery Plan and coordinates access to the recommended medical treatment services, employment assistance, housing assistance, and other targeted services.
- Coordinates, conducts or participates in assessments; provides crisis assistance services; delegates recovery plan tasks to appropriate service providers; and monitors overall service delivery.
Requirements for Case Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, or related Human Services degree.
- Experience in social services and behavioral health is preferred but not required.
- The position requires frequent driving of own personal vehicle. A valid driver’s license, vehicle, and insurable driving record are required.

Ohio currently offers several programs to support behavioral health professionals:
- Welcome Back Initiative: If you're returning to the behavioral health field after a minimum 30-day break, you may be eligible for a $2,500 bonus (or $3,000 if not referred by current staff).
- Great Minds Fellowship: If you are a student in the final two years in one of the specified programs, you may be eligible for up to $15,000 in tuition assistance.
- Great Minds Workforce Commitment Incentive: If you are a student who graduated or received certification between May 1, 2023 and January 6, 2025 from one of the following academic programs: Marriage and Family Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, Social Work, Substance Abuse/Addiction Counseling or related academic program. Note: Academic program relatedness will be determined by the Ohio Department of Higher Educationin or after May 2023 in one of the specified degrees, you may be eligible for up to $20,000 in student loan repayment assistance.
- Great Minds Retention Funds: If you are/were a graduated Great Mind Fellow and continue working at GCBHS for at least one year may be eligible for additional funding of up to $10,000.
