Behavioral Health Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Supervisor to join our team at Brightview Health. As a key member of our treatment team, you will provide direct patient care and supervision to behavioral health staff, ensuring the highest level of quality care and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care and supervision to behavioral health staff
  • Offer expertise on best practices and guidelines for addiction therapy
  • Evaluate treatment plans, documentation, and services to ensure compliance and quality
  • Ensure teams meet performance measures in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Prioritize the patient experience while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Oversee onboarding and training for new hires, implementing policies, workflows, and trainings as needed
  • Participate in and occasionally lead meetings and in-services, partnering with the Operations Director for proper care
  • Provide updates on recruitment progress and market insights to the Operations Director
  • Adhere to and manage compliance for supervision activities, embracing and promoting a culture of compliance
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience in a related field, with prior supervision experience preferred
  • Active licensure consistent with state-level regulatory requirements, at minimum independently licensed with supervision designation
  • Master's Degree in a related field, consistent with state-level regulation and requirements
