1st Shift: Mon - Thu, 6am - 4:30 pm

Here's a Glimpse at What you'll Do:

Work with a team in the mechanical and electrical assembly of Complex machines, including Complex S and Q Automatics, Lanringers and Ring Straddles. This includes final assembly, runout, and troubleshooting of stretch-wrap components using a wide range of hand and power tools. Work to also include hardware and software interface, and understanding of PLC / ladder logic. Will cross train on the line to support new and existing options in sub-assembly. On occasion be willing and able to travel to meet customer required start-ups and field support Will occasionally be lifting loads up to 50 lbs. Must be able to climb a ladder. Must be willing/able to work overtime to complete project and meet scheduling deadlines.

What are We Looking For? (Requirements)

We are looking for someone who:
  • Must be able to read mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Must have demonstrated the ability to runout and troubleshoot a variety of Lantech equipment.
  • If electrical experience was gained through Lantech you must have completed the Lantech Electrical Advancement Program (LEAP) Level 2 or the Electrical Apprenticeship program.
  • Must have passed the Automatic Trouble Shooting Assessment.
  • Is able to read and follow instructions in English (standardized work).
  • Is able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Practices safe work habits as an individual and with co-workers.
  • Adheres to guidelines related to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
  • Is a team-oriented individual with good interaction/communication skills.
  • Is detail-oriented and able to work effectively within the fast-paced production environment.
  • Knows safety equipment and is aware of machine safety procedures
  • Is able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Is able stand for 9-10 hours per day
  • Is able to pass a pre-employment physical demand screen (includes a work simulation; lifting up to 50 lbs.)
  • Is able to pass a pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
  • Is willing and able to work overtime to complete project and/or meet scheduling deadlines.
  • Is legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required
