We are seeking a highly skilled Final Assembly Technician to join our team at Lantech. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the final assembly, runout, and troubleshooting of complex machines, including stretch-wrap components.
Key Responsibilities- Work with a team to assemble and test complex machines, including Automatics, Lanringers, and Ring Straddles.
- Use a wide range of hand and power tools to assemble and troubleshoot stretch-wrap components.
- Understand and work with hardware and software interfaces, including PLC and ladder logic.
- Cross-train on the line to support new and existing options in sub-assembly.
- Occasionally travel to meet customer requirements and provide field support.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be able to read mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Must have demonstrated ability to runout and troubleshoot Lantech equipment.
- Must have completed the Lantech Electrical Advancement Program (LEAP) Level 2 or the Electrical Apprenticeship program.
- Must have passed the Automatic Trouble Shooting Assessment.
- Must be able to read and follow instructions in English.
- Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must practice safe work habits and adhere to guidelines related to PPE.
- Must be a team-oriented individual with good interaction and communication skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for 9-10 hours per day.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical demand screen and physical examination.
