Inspect parts as they are assembled. Bolts or otherwise fastens parts together. Tends machines to perform fitting or fastening operations on assembly line. Utilizes hand tools and air tool throughout shift. Works in various work stations as dictated by production requirements. Works with the team to reduce / eliminate bottlenecks to reach team goals. Works on continuous improvement projects. Notifies supervisor of production errors or equipment malfunctions. Clears equipment at end of operating run and reviews schedule to determine next assignment. Records problems which occurred, such as down time, root causes and actions taken. Meets or exceeds hourly production rates every hour. Maintains cleanliness of the production area. Proactively promotes The McWane Way Principles. QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
