The Head of Acquisition will design and lead a modern, data-driven recruiting function that not only supports today’s hiring needs but also establishes a scalable model for the future. Reporting to the VP of HR and serving as a member of RMW’s leadership team, this leader will create and drive a talent strategy that directly supports RMW’s ability to expand, integrate new offices, and deliver exceptional client service. This leader defines the candidate journey at RMW, ensuring that every interaction communicates our culture, our values, and our commitment to people. In doing so, they help us attract talent that is both capable and deeply aligned with who we are. Success in this role requires both strategic vision and direct execution. The Head of Acquisition will personally design, implement, and run the recruiting process while laying the groundwork for a scalable internal team. This is a rare opportunity to build a function from the ground up, while also being directly responsible for its day-to-day impact in the near term. What You’ll Do Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with RMW’s growth objectives Build RMW’s internal recruiting function, including the systems, processes, and frameworks required to scale Define and drive hiring performance against key benchmarks such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, diversity hiring, and both hiring manager and candidate satisfaction Partner with local office leadership to understand workforce needs and translate them into actionable hiring strategies Create structured job descriptions, interview plans, and evaluation criteria that balance technical capability with cultural fit Manage recruiting funnels end-to-end, tracking pipeline health and conversion metrics to continuously improve outcomes Leverage best-in-class tools, platforms, and emerging recruitment technologies to enhance sourcing, candidate management, and reporting Stay current with industry trends and innovative recruiting practices, incorporating new approaches where they strengthen RMW’s talent acquisition efforts Strengthen RMW’s employer brand and ensure a consistent, professional candidate experience across all offices Provide leadership with regular reporting and insights on hiring performance, talent market dynamics, and workforce trends Select and manage external recruiting partners strategically, engaging them only where their expertise adds clear value About You 5-10 years of recruiting and talent acquisition experience, with at least 3 in a leadership role in a professional services or high-growth, multi-office environment; CPA industry highly preferred Strong strategic vision with the ability to align talent acquisition strategies directly with organizational growth objectives Demonstrated ability to both build and run a recruiting function, balancing strategic leadership with hands‑on execution Expertise in sourcing and attracting top‑tier candidates, with experience building and maintaining strong talent pipelines Skilled in role definition, job description development, structured interview planning, and cultural fit assessment Proficient with applicant tracking systems, sourcing platforms, and recruiting CRM tools; familiar with emerging technologies and best practices in the field Experienced in employer branding initiatives and positioning an organization as an employer of choice Data‑driven decision‑maker with proven ability to analyze recruitment metrics and optimize processes accordingly Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities to collaborate effectively with leadership, hiring managers, candidates, and external partners Strategic, disciplined, and resourceful, with the ability to anticipate needs and build for scale What’s in It for You A leadership role central to RMW’s five‑year growth strategy The opportunity to design and lead the firm’s in‑house recruiting function Competitive compensation commensurate with experience comprised of base salary, bonus and incentive equity 401(k) Matching Program Platinum Health Insurance, FSA, Life, STD, and LTD 20 PTO and 7 Sick Days Annually South Florida candidates preferred; remote candidates will be considered How to Apply Join us at a pivotal stage, where your leadership will shape our talent foundation and steer our path to scale.
