JOB DESCRIPTION
Department: IT HR Payroll & Advisor Comp Job Category: Information Technology Job Title: Lead Business Analyst (WorkDay)
Duties: As part of the HR, Payroll & Advisor Compensation technology team, the Lead Business Analyst will be providing business analyst support to several modernization projects. This team supports configuration & integrations across third party SaaS applications including Workday and Varicent ICM as well as several custom applications leveraging .NET Core and Angular. The Lead Business Analyst is performing business data analysis as well as documenting business requirements and processes.
Duties
Providing business & data analysis for business applications, including analyzing, documenting, and proposing enhancements to business operational processes.
Gathering, writing, and maintaining functional requirements for various modernization projects including Workday implementation and custom .Net/Angular applications.
Working closely with technical development team members with translating functional user requirements to technical specifications, staging test cases etc.
Work in collaboration with technical IT resources to develop estimates and implementation plans for technical solutions to business needs within approved project budgets.
Work in collaboration with project manager to develop and maintain project schedules, and produce project reports and documentation.
Work in collaboration with SQM resources to identify requirements for testing, develop test plans, work with users to develop test scripts and coordinate test transmissions, as required.
Skills: Requirements
Required experience include business analysis, issues analysis, and requirement gathering/documentation Required experience with creating and maintaining business requirement documents for Workday Integrations Required experience must include ability to write and run SQL statements for data analysis.
Candidate must be very organized and detailed-oriented with strong communication skills
Desired Skills:
Workday &/or Varicent Incentive Compensation system experience preferred Familiarity with technical integrations
Education:
BS. in Computer Science, MIS or related degree + minimum five years of relevant work experience Experience in the Financial Service industry preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
Workday Certification is preferred but not required
